Types of Windows

Hung Windows

Both single and double hung styles have up and down operation. Both styles use the same parts for operations; balances, tilt latches and sash locks.

Horizontal Sliding (Rolling)

Commonly referred to as gliding, rolling that have a sliding side to side operation. Sometimes with wheels under the sashes and sometimes without.

Casement Vents

Casement windows are the "crank out" type that allow for full height ventilation. The parts used for movement include operators, handles, covers and vent locks.

Patio Doors

One of the most common back doors used in home construction is a sliding patio door. Rollers are used under the operating panel along with handle sets for security.

Screens

Screens are used or can be fabricated for almost any window configuration. Worn out mesh can also be replaced for an economic aesthetic and functional upgrade.

Glass

With many different styles we have you covered with a wide variety of in-stock selections and basic fabrication. Our vendors allow us to be a valuable resource for all types.
